Machine de Cirque was founded in 2013 by six passionate artists, Vincent Dubé, Raphaël Dubé, Yohann Trépanier, Ugo Dario, Maxim Laurin and Frédéric Lebrasseur. 

Machine de Cirque, the first eponymous show created in May 2015, was a great success with audiences and critics alike. It was presented over 700 times in Europe, Asia and North America, and continues to tread national and international stages to this day.

In 2018, the creation of Truck Stop: La grande traversée, an autonomous traveling show that tells the story of crossing the American continent, enabled the troupe to visit some 30 Canadian cities from coast to coast, meeting over 16,000 spectators.

In 2019, La Galerie sees the light of day and takes spectators on a journey to the frontiers of Art: where everything gets mixed up. Still on tour, the show has been presented over 220 times in Europe, the United States and Canada.

Ghost Light: entre la chute en l'envol, the company's third touring show, makes its world premiere in 2020 at the prestigious CIRCA Festival du Cirque Actuel in Auch (France).

The company's fourth touring show, Robot infidèle, hits the stage in 2023.

The company is currently working on its fifth touring show, Kintsugi, due to launch in July 2024.
