Today could be the last day: the last day in this place. Max may have been here for a long time… or he may have just arrived and already has to leave. Today, he invites us to dive into his world, accompanied by his inseparable bird.
It is a world that is at once tender, strange, and funny. A world filled with unique sounds, echoes of the past, and perhaps a glimpse of the future. Comical, absurd, and surreal, *Ce jour* explores loneliness as a playground, traversed by light, darkness, and, always, joy.
Set to the original music of Matt Huxley, the show becomes a dynamic odyssey, where resonances and rebounds transform into an irresistible energy that sweeps us away.

Cie. Max Calaf Sevé is a creative circus company founded in 2009. Its journey began in Catalonia, took it through England, and recently led it to settle in Montreuil.
In collaboration with artists from diverse backgrounds, the company creates performances for public spaces, theaters, and non-traditional venues, exploring aesthetics related to movement, acrobatic gestures, objects, poetic language, and the transformation of space.
At the heart of its creations: the trampoline. Its mat becomes an emotional canvas, allowing us to leap into the intimate, stir the senses, drift to the edge of the abyss, project ourselves toward the unknown, and traverse inner landscapes.
The company’s world oscillates between comedy, the absurd, and a unique form of ongoing exploration of the body. Here, we seek the pleasure of instability—the joy of never setting foot on hard, stable ground. We defy conformity; we defend the indefensible.
