By weaving storytelling with fluid, acrobatic choreography, BELLO! brings together six acrobats and an extraordinary actor in a poetic and at times tumultuous exploration of not only how we find beauty within ourselves, but also how we allow it to express itself.

Created by director Francesco Sgrò and an international ensemble of acrobats, BELLO! unfolds as a series of short stories, revealing the subtleties, frustrations, and wonder of seemingly mundane everyday interactions. Complex, almost meditative acrobatics transform into satires of flashy fashion shows and joyful ballets before reconnecting with the simple joys of touch, connection, and physical collaboration.

BELLO! exists in a world and style all its own, combining traditional group acrobatic approaches such as banquine, hand-to-hand, and tumbling with contemporary movement methodologies such as contact improvisation and physical theater. The result is the creation of a world on stage that welcomes the audience with open arms and brings us together to ask the question: what do we owe one another?
