A bus station, lost at the very edge of the world. Here, eight individuals meet. Where do they come from? Do they know each other? Are they somehow connected? As their stories intertwine, they share one point in common: a desire to be somewhere else; to embark on a journey to foreign lands. At the heart of their anticipated exile to an unknown world, they must all follow one rule - bring only a single piece of luggage with them. So then, what to choose? Something useful, or something that carries the passage of time, a memory, a mark. Within this borderless space, a ballet of human affections unfolds. Fragments of the past that shape the present. A dream where one is sometimes awake. A fog that wraps around the bodies to make them disappear or magnify them. A celebration in the heart of the night. This mysterious place awakens in each of them a thirst for life, for encounters and for the unusual. A desire for solidarity, poetry, unrestrained laughter and fun. With this new show, Machine de Cirque creates a moment of great humanity, an electrifying storm with dizzying acrobatic feats. An inspiring dive into life; one that is here and now and filled with beauty.
