Welcome to an evening of social prestige. A VIP experience where the winners of the Awards, an international recognition of excellence in cinematic achievement, will be given out by Back Pocket. It is not only a show. If you are in attendance you are yourself a part of this elite group, the “crème de la crème”, and perhaps you already star in one of the pieces of the evening awaiting an Award. Or at least, a nomination. The evening will of course be broadcast on live TV. Therefore you may need to comply with some constraints, a few rehearsals, and deal with some unforeseen events.

Back Pocket is an up and coming company that has had an explosive debut: their first show, La Vrille du Chat, with about a hundred performances done across Europe, received the “prix de la critique 2019” (Maeterlink) for the best Belgian circus show. That same year, the show was selected for the Festival d’Avignon where it attracted the biggest number of audience members out of all the circus performances programmed there.
