Building on the success of BiblioTEK, CURIOSITÉ is part of an artistic exploration inspired by the visual and narrative vibrancy of 1930s New York.

The production brings together 10 artists on stage and develops a theatrical style at the intersection of contemporary hip-hop dance and modern circus, offering the audience an immersive and structured experience that serves a clear and sensitive narrative.

Through the eyes of a young migrant, CURIOSITÉ explores the notions of the quest for recognition, loneliness, and the illusions associated with exile. The body becomes the primary vehicle for the narrative: every movement and every circus act contributes to the construction of a dreamlike world where reality and imagination intertwine.

Supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and co-produced by the City of Belleville-en-Beaujolais, the show draws on a wide range of circus disciplines: hair-suspension acts, balancing acts, contortion, acrobatic dance, aerial silks, and diabolo, all serving a cohesive visual language. Together, these elements form a poetic and optimistic work that engages with the contemporary challenges of narrative circus.
