After its acclaimed world premiere at the Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque (BIAC) 2025, Face aux murs, the new creation by Compagnie Hors Surface, directed by Damien Droin, is set to take over La Scala Paris from March 6 to 30, 2025.
This show plunges into the heart of an inner revolt, where vertigo and doubt are embodied in a spectacular scenography: a huge Plexiglas wall, lined with trampolines, becomes a vertiginous playground for six acrobats in search of balance.
Sometimes witnesses, sometimes actors in their own torments, they explore their dark side, oscillating between resistance and abandonment, between falling and flying. Face aux murs questions our ability to adapt, surpass and reinvent ourselves in a world in perpetual motion.
